bluebonnets are a member of the Lupinus family of wildflowers. Their incredible blue hues can be seen blanketing the
pastures and fields of the Hill Country in early spring. “There are moments when you want time to stand still. This was one of them,” Mangelsen says.
“For a brief instant, these bluebonnets sparkled on earth, almost like stars in the night sky.”
